Product detailed description

Rolex Yacht-Master 42 Titanium 226627

Unveiled in 2023, the Yacht-Master 42 in RLX Titanium marks a new chapter in the brand’s maritime collection — combining the functionality of a professional sailing watch with the refinement and comfort of lightweight titanium construction.

This reference represents the first Yacht-Master crafted entirely from RLX Titanium (Grade 5), a proprietary alloy used by Rolex for its strength, corrosion resistance, and remarkable lightness. The result is a watch that feels almost weightless on the wrist, yet retains the unmistakable solid presence of an Oyster case.

An early prototype of the Yacht-Master 42 in RLX Titanium was spotted on Sir Ben Ainslie in 2021. It served as a prelude, hinting at the model’s concept before the launch of the production 226627.

Why choose this model?

The first full-titanium Yacht-Master.
Rolex has long been associated with precious metals and steel, but the 226627 introduces RLX Titanium as a permanent part of the lineup. The material’s satin finish and subtle luster give the watch a restrained, technical aesthetic rarely seen in the brand’s history.

Engineered for true comfort.
At 42 mm, the watch wears noticeably lighter than its gold or steel counterparts. The brushed surfaces and beveled lugs create a harmonious play of light, while the titanium Oyster bracelet ensures durability and exceptional balance on the wrist.

Distinctive "stealth luxury" design.
The Intense Black dial and matte Cerachrom bezel emphasize functionality over shine. The raised polished numerals on the bezel contrast beautifully against the dark ceramic background — refined but understated, ideal for those who prefer substance over display.

Precision in motion.
Powered by the in-house Calibre 3235, this Yacht-Master delivers a 70-hour power reserve, Chronergy escapement, Parachrom hairspring, and Paraflex shock absorbers — a movement architecture proven across Rolex’s latest generation of watches.

Modern rarity.
As one of the few titanium models in the Rolex lineup, the 226627 remains exceptionally scarce. Its combination of innovation, comfort, and subtle character has already made it one of the most talked-about modern Yacht-Masters — and a likely future collectible.
